“All Our Work Ends Up In Action”

St. Vincent de Paul said, “All our work ends up in action.” When you donate today to #iGiveMiraculousMedal, your action directly supports the wonderful works of the Vincentians: soup kitchens, food pantries, prison re-integration programs, drug rehabilitation, higher education, promoting our Blessed Mother and her Miraculous Medal, preserving the Miraculous Medal Shrine, and so much more. As Vincentians, we see the face of God in those we serve and treat them with respect and dignity.

“The poor, when viewed with the eyes of faith, take the place of Christ and so give us the opportunity to love and serve Jesus. Charity is greater than any rule or pious exercise.” – St. Vincent de Paul

Join us in our mission today, and help change someone’s life. View our photo gallery below to learn about some of the works our Vincentian Family helps support.

Prison Ministry

6 in 10 people released from prison will be incarcerated within 3 years. A 20% drop in recidivism is associated with individuals obtaining employment upon release.

Homeless and Hungry

Vincentian communities provide food, hot meals, and pantry items for those who hit hard times.

Substance Abuse

Philadelphia had the second-highest rate of drug overdose deaths in 2016. Vincentians reach out to those suffering most in communities.

Troubled Youth

Vincentians form relationships with those in need throughout the community and are actively helping those who are in need of a supporting hand.

Higher Education

There are three U.S. Vincentian Universities: St. John’s University, Niagara University, and DePaul University.

Marian Devotion

We invite you to join us in praying the Novena every Monday.

The Congregation of the Mission was started 400 years ago by St. Vincent de Paul.

The Shrine

The Shrine provides a peaceful sanctuary for prayer, meditation, and pilgrimage.

Educating the Poor and Youth

Vincentians believe that everyone deserves an education. They support education of the poor and the youth in their communities.
