Shine at the Shrine: Mass, Thanksgiving Meal, and Service
Saturday, November 16, 12:05 p.m., The Shrine
Young adults are invited to join us for the 12:05 p.m. mass at the Shrine followed by a Thanksgiving meal held in the Lower Shrine. As we give thanks to the Lord for all that He has blessed us with, let us also give back to the community by spending some time with the elderly residents at Wesley in Stapeley. There we will have one-on-one interaction with the residents while painting pottery and planting seeds. RSVP is required for this event.
Starting A New Path
On July 30, 4 young men took another step toward a lifetime commitment to serve the poor and the marginalized, following in the footsteps of St. Vincent. View a short video montage of the celebration and journey!
November: Homelessness and Hunger
Hunger and Homelessness Awareness Week occurs November 16 through November 24. This month we look at the services the Vincentians provide up and down the Eastern Province. Focusing on two major cities in which the Vincentians help the poor and forgotten—Philadelphia, PA and Niagara Falls, NY—we’ll see the lives that are being transformed by their ministries and compassion.
2019 Solemn Novena
November 18 – 26, 2019
From November 18 through November 26, the Miraculous Medal Family will join together for our Annual Solemn Novena. This year’s theme is Confession: The Gift of the Sacrament of Reconciliation. Your prayers and support for this Solemn Novena will help those who urgently need Christ’s healing forgiveness in their lives.
The Story of the Miraculous Medal
The Blessed Virgin Mary manifested the image of the Miraculous Medal to St. Catherine Labouré in 1830, generously entrusting it to us, her children, and bestowing upon us a mission to bring others to her for the many graces she bestows.
Join Our Worldwide Family of Prayer
Our members and their loved ones become part of a global family of prayer, and are the beneficiaries of countless Novenas and Masses said by the members and priests of St. Vincent de Paul. This active prayer ministry lifts up our personal intentions and unites us all under the care of Mary, Our Mother.
