Vincentians celebrate 170 Years in Philadelphia – EWTN News Nightly
The mission and good works of the Vincentians of the Eastern Province were recently highlighted on EWTN. Fr. Michael Carroll, CM, and Fr. Tim Lyons, CM, discuss the impact and importance of the work of the Vincentians in Philadelphia, and the significance of the Shrine and the Perpetual Novena.
A Year in Review
Thank you for joining us this year as we celebrated the 170th Anniversary of Vincentians in Philadelphia and saw firsthand what the Vincentian Priests and Brothers are doing here in Philadelphia and throughout the Eastern Province. We invite you to look back on the different ministries shared throughout this 170th video series. These humble servants of God touch the lives of the poor every day, and these videos captured a fraction of that. How does their work set your heart on fire with Christ’s love and inspire you to live out the Vincentian charism in the new year?
The Story of the Miraculous Medal
The Blessed Virgin Mary manifested the image of the Miraculous Medal to St. Catherine Labouré in 1830, generously entrusting it to us, her children, and bestowing upon us a mission to bring others to her for the many graces she bestows.
Join Our Worldwide Family of Prayer
Our members and their loved ones become part of a global family of prayer, and are the beneficiaries of countless Novenas and Masses said by the members and priests of St. Vincent de Paul. This active prayer ministry lifts up our personal intentions and unites us all under the care of Mary, Our Mother.
